Once activated, users will be able to select an “End Period Date” that is past the current date, and this permission will apply to all batch types.

The batch will be created based on data available in your system on the day it was created. You can create the batch before the "End Period Date" but the transactions will not be included in system calculations and balances until the Closed Date has been reached.

IMPORTANT: The batch is generated based on the data available in your system on the day it is created. The system will NOT automatically validate your data after the batch is created; there is no live update of this data. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have validated your data and have accounted for any changes which may have occurred between the time to batch was created and the time it is run.
