We've made some exciting changes to the KYC Settings Tab within the Admin Module that we'd like to share with you. Please note that any changes made to KYC Settings take effect in real-time and effect all KYC's in draft status.
The KYC Settings Tab now contains several collapsible sections:
KYC Settings (allows you to define the default settings for your KYC)
Investor suitability
Offering
Investor Status
Anti-money laundering
Identity
Additional (Does not contain any questions by default. You will soon have the ability to add questions to this section that do not logically fit under any of the other sections.)
Editing the KYC Settings
There are several options available to users to edit the KYC. These edits will save in real time as they are made by admin users. *Please note that the Settings page does not auto-refresh, so edits made by one user may not be visible to another if both users are on the Settings page at the same time.*
Description: The questions that populate in each section are default questions set up by the Exempt Edge team. All KYC questions are now housed in text entry fields and can be completely customized by the user.
Preset Options: For any question with single- and multi-selection answers, users can delete any of the preset options by clicking the "X" beside the text field or add additional options by clicking the "+." Please note that options cannot be reordered and any deleted option will be permanently lost.
Type: Denotes the type of answer selector (single-selection, multi-selection, or text.)
Investor: Denotes whether the question will appear on KYC's for individual investors, corporate investors, or all investors.
KYC: This checkbox allows users to hide preset questions from your KYC without completely deleting them.
Link to Related Party: Allows the user to link a related party to investor suitability and offering questions.
Actions: These arrows allow the user to reorder questions within the section. Any question added by a user can be deleted using the "X."
Adding a Question
Users have the ability to add questions to their KYC template using the "+ Add Question" button. There are four fields to be aware of.
Name: This field will not be visible to your clients, but is required for Exempt Edge's internal records.
Question: This field will be the primary, bolded text question. This field is required.
Short Description: This field is optional and text entered here will appear below the primary, bolded text question in regular text. It allows for further expansion on the primary question if necessary.
Category: This dropdown menu allows the user to choose which section the new question will appear under.
