Admin and Advisor Two-Factor Authentication

For Admin and Advisor users who would like to add some additional security when logging into their Exempt Edge portal.

When logged into your Exempt Edge portal, click on your profile name on the top right of your Exempt Edge portal. Within the dropdown click on your “Profile”.

On the profile page you will see a toggle to “Enable Two-Factor Authentication” and click save.

You will now be presented with a QR code which you will need to capture with your mobile device, or authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Last pass, Etc.). Simply hold your phone up to your computer to ‘Scan QR Code’ and capture the QR code provided.

The next time you log in you will be asked to verify with the code provided by your Authenticator app.

If you have issues logging in or if you are not able to authenticate your account you can reset the two-factor authentication by clicking the forgot password option on the login.
