Investors will be required to have access to an authenticator app. Authenticator apps generate time-based, one-time passcodes, which are usually six digits that refresh every 30 seconds. Once you set up 2FA, every time you want to log in to your Investor Portal, you open the app and copy the code into the secured login page. That's it, you’re in.

The time limit means that if someone manages to get your one-time passcode, it won’t work for them after 30 seconds. Follow the below steps to set up 2FA for your investor portal.

When logged into your Investor Exempt Edge portal, click on your profile dropdown on the top right of your Exempt Edge portal. Within the dropdown click on “ View Profile”.

On the profile page you will see an option to Enable Two-Factor Authentication, click Enable.

Note:

*Enabling Two Factor authentication will apply to all Exempt Edge profiles attached to this email.

You will now be presented with a QR code which you will need to capture with your mobile device, or authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Last pass, Etc.). Simply hold your phone up to your computer to ‘Scan QR Code’ and capture the QR code provided.

The next time you log in you will be asked to verify with the code provided by your Authenticator app.

If you have issues logging in or if you are not able to authenticate your account you can reset the two-factor authentication by clicking the forgot password option on the login.
