The Document Uploader is an additional module that allows users to batch upload files into the Investor Documents table in investor profiles. The feature itself will appear as additional tabs in the Imports Module.

In the Document Uploader tab, users will be able to drag and drop as many files as they would like, there is no limit to the number of documents that can be uploaded.

In order for documents to be automatically matched to the correct investor profiles the file names will have to follow the format of 'Document Name_Account Number'. The Document Name can be whatever information you want to include and the Account Number will be the investors account number that is recorded in the system. As an example, the name of a file can be 'Alan Edge's Investor Document_12345'.

When the file is added to the Document Uploader will automatically match to the correct investor.

After selecting Process Documents the file will be uploaded to the Investor Documents table in the investor profile and it will be made viewable on their portal.

Alternatively, there is a notification toggle that controls whether notifications are sent when a document batch is processed. Users have the ability to select whether or not they want to send email communications.

In the case of a joint account, the file will be uploaded to both the primary and secondary investor profiles. If you don't have the account number on the files that you're uploading then you can select the correct profile in the drop-down menu for each file.

The Document Batches tab allows you to track the status of the batch uploads as they are processing.
