EdgeLink - Accepting Transactions and Distributions

This article explains how transactions and distributions are reviewed and accepted into your system via EdgeLink

All transaction updates will be found and managed within the "Pending Transactions" or "Pending Transaction Batches" Tabs.

Pending Transactions

Individual transaction updates can be reviewed, accepted, or ignored in this table.

Transaction Update Types

New Update - The Connected Party has made a change or update to the transaction

This Transaction has been Closed - The Connected Party has updated the transaction and set the status to Closed

Issuer has returned this transaction - The Connected Party has found an error or issue with the submitted transaction and returned it to the sending party

Action options

Review Details: Will display the transaction for you to review all of the details and updates
Ignore: No changes are made to your transaction

Accept: The transaction update is approved and updates are applied to your transaction

If you are accepting a transaction, and you do not have a matching Investor or Advisor profile, the system will allow you to connect this to another active profile in your system, or create a new profile according to the shared information. When an investor is chosen, you will then also be given the option to select an account and, if required, a matching transaction.

Pending Transaction Batches - Dealer Only

Batch transaction updates can be reviewed, accepted, or ignored in this table. Users can review transactions individually within the batch or as a whole.

Batch Table Filter

Issuer/Offering - a dropdown of EdgeLink connected Offerings

Batch # - search for a specific transaction batch #

Date Range - search for transactions within a timeframe

Clicking the eyeball will allow you to preview all of the individual transactions within the shared batch.

Action options - these actions will apply to the whole batch

Ignore All: No changes are made to your transactions, the EdgeLink Connection will be broken
Accept All: The transaction update is approved and updates are applied to your transactions

Preview Batch Table Filter

Issuer Tran # - search for a specific transaction number

Transaction Type - search for a specific transaction type

Investor/Company Name - Search for an investor

Date Range - search for transactions within a timeframe

Date Entry - What date field do you want to search by (Requested, Approved, Closed)

Action options

Review Details: Will display the transaction for you to review all of the details and updates
Ignore: No changes are made to your transaction, the EdgeLink Connection will be broken
Accept: The transaction is update is approved, any changes or updates are applied to your transaction
