Exempt Edge Modules

Dashboard

The Dashboard Module is the 'Home Screen’. Within this module, you can see snapshots of your data within your Issuers, Investors, Advisors, and Statement modules. Additionally, you can utilize the search tool to access more specific information and data.

Dealer

The Dealer Module contains all associated Exempt Market Dealers. The Dealer module tracks, stores and provides the below information for Issuers:

  • EMD Contact Information

  • Advisors (contains all contact, commission, and transaction details for your advisors; this module also allows for tracking of any important notes or documents related to the advisor)

  • EMD notes

  • Tracks units sold, investment totals per month, and total dollars invested

Issuers

The Issuer Module tracks, stores and provides the below information for Issuers:

  • Total $ invested

  • Investment status

  • Current Market Value (CMV)

  • Offering details

  • Offering commission/fee information/markup/markdown

  • Securities purchased

  • Approved required documents

  • Approved marketing material

Investors

The Investors module contains profiles for all investors within your system. Within each profile, there are several tabs with additional investor information:

  • Investor contact information

  • Investment accounts

  • Investor notes

  • Investor documents

  • Securities summary

  • Transaction summary

  • Statement history

Transactions

The Transactions module allows you to track all incoming and outgoing transactions from start to finish. Selecting a specific transaction will show you a high-level summary of the transaction details with commission breakdown, an investor summary, an activity log and a section to upload any transaction notes or documents to the file. You can also:

  • Add multiple transactions for a group of investors with a Distribution, Sale, DRIP, or Trailer Fee;

  • Export any transactional data utilizing the module’s drop downs to filter your results;

  • Automatically generate Transaction Statements which can be made viewable in the Investor Portal in 24 hours

Batch Statements

The Batch Statements module is where client statement reports can be exported or scheduled to be emailed to clients for a future date. These reports are fully customizable with a variety of options. Created Transaction Confirmations are also kept within this module.

Reports: Getting Started

To explore one reports, click the name of the report, and you will be directed to a page with information about the report. On this page, you also have access to further filters to help you narrow down your search.

Reports allow you to analyze the performance of various components of your system. Whether you're using the standard reporting feature or creating your own custom reports, this article will help you get the most out of your reports.


To get started with reports, log in to your account and select 'Reports' from the left navigation menu. You’ll see a series of predefined reports, organized by the category each pertains to, i.e. Performance, Conversions, or Visits.

Running Reports

To run a report, click the “Run Report” button at the top of the page. Depending on the criteria you have selected, a report may take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to generate.

Custom Reports

You can also create custom reports tailored to your exact needs. To do this, click 'New Report' from the top of the page, and then select 'Custom Report' from the dropdown menu. From here, you can specify what type of data you wish to collect and how it should be displayed. Once you have finished setting up your report, click 'Run Report' and your data will be collected and presented to you.

Saving Reports

If you wish to save a report to review again later, click the 'Save Report' button at the top of the page. You will be asked to give your report a name so you can easily find it again when you need it. You can find your saved reports in the 'My Reports' section located in the left navigation menu.

Conclusion

Reports are a great way to gain insights into how your website is performing. With the standard reports, you can analyze data quickly and easily, and with custom reports, you have even more control over exactly which data is collected and how it is presented. And with the ability to save your reports, you can keep track of your insights over time.

The Reports module allows you to create customized reports from the transaction data in your portal. To do this utilize the drop down filters to create your desired report, you can then review your results and export it into a CSV file. 

Admin

The Admin Module is where the company details, admin users, and the Statement Header & Footer are edited. This module also has some executive level reports available to pull.
