This article highlights what Issuer information will be updated to connected parties through EdgeLink non-transactional updates.

Being connected with EdgeLink makes the sharing of Issuer information and updates easier and more efficient for any connected partner than ever before!

Issuer updates are only communicated Issuer to Dealer. Dealer changes are not communicated to the Issuer.

If any details within the Issuer Profile are updated, an EdgeLink update is sent to any connected party of your Offering.

*Note: An EdgeLink update will be sent to the connected party when any of the following settings within an Issuer are updated except for the Advisor Viewable toggle.

The update to the connected party would display the below detail in their EdgeLink Pending Updates table:

Request Type - Issuer Update

Company - Name of Connected Party

Updated On - Requested Date

Updated By - Initiator of the change

Details - a summary of the original and updated data

Action - Accept or Decline

Connected Party Receiving the Offering Update

Any change or update to the Issuer would need to be reviewed by the receiving party in their EdgeLink "Pending Updates" table - to either be accepted or declined.

If available, clicking 'Review' on the pending update would display the changed information for you to review. Connected users could either accept or decline the update.

  1. Accept

    1. When clicked, the information in the receiving party’s system is updated.

  2. Decline

    1. When clicked, the Offering information is not updated and the notification goes away.
