What is the purpose of the disclosures?
These disclosures allow you to ensure that information relating to a specific offering is clearly disclosed to the investor. This information can be displayed on their trade confirmation as well as on their investor portal.
Creating a Disclosure
Within an Offering, the Disclosures tab will allow you to define the text that you would like to have appear on the Trade Confirmation, as well as the disclosure that will be displayed on the Investor Portal. These can be set independently and can be created in both English and French.
To create or edit these disclosures, simply click Edit Disclosures.
Select the appropriate language and set the disclosure as desired.
Trade Confirmation Disclosure
Once defined in the offering, this disclosure will be displayed on the trade confirmation, below the trade confirmation footer, but above the Referenced Definitions. The language version used will be the same as the investor's Preferred Language. If no disclosure has been set for this offering, this section will not appear on the trade confirmation.
Investor Portal Disclosure
Once defined in the offering, this disclosure will be available when viewing a position in more detail. It will be located below the Offering, Account, and Total Value details but above the Transaction History. The language version used will be the same as the language selected on the Investor Portal. If no disclosure has been set for this offering, this section will not appear.
Historical Disclosures
Disclosures cannot be archived, therefore, when a disclosure is changed, the previous record will not be stored.
The Trade Confirmation Preview always displays the information as of the day it is pulled, therefore, it will be automatically updated. If a Trade Confirmation has previously been generated, this historical will still reflect the disclosure that was active at the time. This version can be viewed within the applicable Trade Confirmation Batch within the Batch Statement module. If the investor has an active portal, the version uploaded to them will also retain the historical wording.

The Investor Portal will be automatically updated and the previous version will not be stored anywhere for investors, advisors, or admins to review.
